The Lake Tansi POA Board of Directors has approved a new policy change regarding new and amended ACC rules and regulations. In the future, changes will be posted as an email blast, in the Smoke Signals, on the Lake Tansi POA official facebook page and also on the Lake Tansi POA website under “ACC Rules and Regulations”. Effective July 1, 2026 the following policy will be in effect:
30 Day Notice
The ACC has adopted and may from time-to-time modify the rules and regulations set forth herein, including any permit application forms and fee schedules to be used. Any regulations modified by the ACC are subject to the approval of the BOD. When a new rule is added or a rule is modified and the changes are approved by the BOD a notice will be published via Email blast and Smoke Signals informing property owners of the rule change. The altered rule will go into effect in a minimum of 30 days after the email blast/Smoke Signals is sent. With this process property owners can make an informed decision about their permit application submission. They may submit their application before the new rule goes into effect, thus using the existing rule OR should a new rule benefit the property owner, they can wait until the new rule goes into effect. Once the 30 days has elapsed the new rule will be in effect for all permit applications subsequently submitted. (Amended July 1, 2026)
